No mystery ingredients. No shortcuts. Just clean, thoughtfully made formula that parents can trust. But Bobbie has never been just a formula company. When the 2022 national infant formula shortage left parents across the country unable to feed their babies, we closed our storefront to new customers rather than leave a single existing family without formula. We went to Washington. We got loud. And we opened our Heath, Ohio manufacturing facility to make sure something like that could never happen again. That's who we are, and that's what you'd be joining. Bobbie for Change Our advocacy arm, Bobbie for Change, exists because making great formula isn't enough if the systems around parenthood are still broken. We fight for paid federal parental leave, push for legislation to prevent future formula shortages, advocate for feeding equity, and support families navigating impossible situations, including donating formula to parents impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers through the Bobbie Breasties program. We're a company that genuinely believes becoming a parent makes you an activist. The people who work here feel that too. As the UX/UI Lead, you'll sit on Bobbie's Digital Product (Platform) team and own end-to-end design for our subscription and ecommerce experience — the flows that keep thousands of parents feeding their babies without interruption. You'll partner with the Director of Digital Product, Product Managers, and Engineers to translate business goals into user-centric solutions, set the bar for UX/UI craft across the org, keep our design system pristine, and work daily alongside Creative, Platform, and Lifecycle to make sure every touchpoint feels like Bobbie. This is an individual-contributor role — you won't have direct reports, but you will direct and mentor external contractors and lead projects through the full UX/UI phase. Subscription Experience Design Lead UX/UI for the full subscriber journey — signup and plan selection, account and subscription management (edit, skip, swap, pause, cancel, win-back), billing and payment flows, and the feeding-stage transitions unique to a growing baby. Bring deep expertise in subscription commerce UX patterns (dunning, save-flows, flexible cadence, bundling, upsell/cross-sell) and apply what works best-in-class to Bobbie's model. Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas, and identify and resolve UX/UI issues across the conversion funnel — homepage, product, cart, and checkout pages. Design System & Craft Own Figma file hygiene and design system integrity — components, tokens, documentation, and naming conventions — so the system stays scalable and easy for any collaborator to pick up. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI patterns for consistency across mobile and web, with a mobile-first approach to visual design. Establish and evangelize UX/UI best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design workflows across the product organization, staying current with industry trends and emerging tools. Research & Validation Plan and run qualitative and quantitative research (usability testing, subscriber interviews, funnel and behavioral analysis) to validate design decisions and improve conversion, retention, and satisfaction across the subscription funnel. Conduct competitor analysis and gather user feedback, leverage A/B testing to continuously improve design and usability, and stay ahead of the curve — always looking for new and innovative ways to remove friction from our UX. Keep Bobbie's parent community at the core of the UX, designing the subscription journey around their needs, feedback, and voice. Cross-Functional Collaboration Creative: Partner hand-in-hand to ensure seamless alignment between user experience, visual identity, and brand voice — translating brand direction into interfaces that feel unmistakably Bobbie. Platform: Collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers early and often to validate technical feasibility, scope trade-offs, and ensure designs are implemented with fidelity across mobile and web. Lifecycle: Design cohesive experiences across owned channels (email, SMS, web) that reduce churn, increase reactivation, and support parents through every stage of their subscription. Brand: Partner closely with Brand to ensure alignment on brand and commercial strategy, and collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure the subscription experience supports go-to-market priorities and stays true to Bobbie's positioning. Project & Process Leadership Clearly articulate and justify design decisions, breaking features down into MVPs that deliver immediate value. Set clear timelines for UX/UI deliverables, managing dependencies and blockers while leading projects through the design phase. Contractor Management Direct and mentor external UX/UI contractors, providing clear briefs, feedback, and quality oversight to ensure on-brand, user-centered, and timely deliverables. Who You Are Extensive UX/UI design experience, including significant time designing for subscription, membership, or recurring-revenue products (DTC subscription commerce strongly preferred). A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership: research, IA/interaction design, visual/UI design, and post-launch iteration. Proven experience designing subscription-specific flows — plan management, billing, retention/save-flows, churn reduction, and lifecycle-driven engagement. Strong cross-functional collaboration experience, ideally partnering directly with Creative/Brand, Platform/Engineering, and Lifecycle/CRM teams. Expert-level Figma skills and a track record of building and maintaining clean, scalable design systems. Experience managing or mentoring other designers or external contractors, including giving direction and quality feedback. Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practice. Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to present and defend design decisions to leadership and cross-functional partners. Nuanced understanding of ecommerce, customer journeys, and industry trends and best practices. Strong typography, layout, and color theory skills. Effective time management across multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality brand standards; thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where workflows change and move rapidly. Bonus points: experience in health, wellness, baby/parenting, or CPG/e-commerce categories; familiarity with subscription/billing platforms (e.g., Recharge, Stripe Billing); experience with lifecycle/CRM tooling (e.g., Klaviyo); front-end fluency (HTML, JavaScript, CSS). Excited about working at an early-stage startup — where you may end up doing all kinds of things! We're hiring a Senior Paid Media MarTech Manager to make that foundation work especially well across the paid media portfolio. You will bring hands-on depth in paid media technology, measurement, attribution, mobile and app marketing, audience activation, and API/SDK integrations — while also helping shape the broader cross-channel MarTech platform strategy. This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful technical depth and broad cross-functional reach. You will be the person who can understand what channel teams need, translate it into clear technical requirements, work directly with vendors and engineers, troubleshoot when measurement or integrations break, and make sound decisions about what we should buy, build, integrate, consolidate, or retire. The work sits squarely between marketing and engineering: you are the person who can hold a credible conversation in both rooms and translate faithfully in each direction. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $153,000 and up to $200,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. In this role, you can expect to Identify capability gaps, technical risks, and opportunities across paid media channels that support long-term channel goals — then help prioritize, shape, and execute the roadmap. Translate channel and business objectives into technical requirements, integration plans, validation criteria, and clear ownership boundaries. Coordinate onboarding and integration of paid media platforms, measurement partners, data providers, and activation destinations from requirements through launch and ongoing improvement. Own the MarTech side of measurement and signal quality across conversion tracking, server-side conversion APIs, tag and event implementations, mobile measurement, attribution, deep linking, audience flows, and platform integrations. Troubleshoot discrepancies across ad platforms, measurement partners, and first-party systems, partnering with Engineering, Data and Analytics, and channel teams when issues cross into their domains. Bring particular depth to mobile and app measurement, including mobile measurement partners, post-ATT iOS measurement, aggregated postbacks, self-attributing networks, deep linking, deferred deep linking, SDK behavior, and app-campaign integrations. Run vendor evaluations and RFPs end to end: define selection criteria, assess technical and measurement capabilities, coordinate security and privacy review, evaluate integration and migration effort, support contracting and renewal decisions, and hold vendors accountable to what they committed to deliver. Evaluate and operationalize AI-enabled marketing capabilities, including creative tagging, performance prediction, campaign optimization recommendations, bidding and optimization signals, and workflow automation. Lead pilots with clear hypotheses, measurable success criteria, appropriate controls, and explicit kill criteria. Build practical skills, automations, or lightweight workflows yourself when that is the fastest and safest way to improve how marketing teams work. Define metrics and standards that show whether the paid media MarTech layer is working, including measurement reliability, signal quality, integration health, time to launch, adoption, vendor performance, and spend efficiency. Act as a trusted technical partner across Growth Marketing, Media and Acquisition, Product, Engineering, Data and Analytics, Legal, Risk, and external partners. To thrive in this role, you have [7+] years in paid media technology, marketing technology, growth or marketing operations, ad tech, marketing engineering, or a related technical role — with ownership of platform integrations, not only usage of them. Deep hands-on experience across paid media MarTech, with meaningful depth in at least two areas such as paid search, paid social, programmatic or omnichannel DSPs, mobile and app measurement, affiliate technology, media analytics, attribution, or bid management. Direct experience implementing or specifying conversion tracking, server-side conversion APIs, tags and events, audience activation, and integrations that move paid media signals between platforms and internal systems. You understand the handoffs to Data and Analytics without owning warehouse architecture or analytical models. Strong mobile and app measurement experience, including practical knowledge of mobile measurement partners, post-ATT iOS measurement, aggregated postbacks, deep linking or deferred deep linking, self-attributing networks, SDKs, and app-campaign integrations. This is an important area of depth for the role. Technical fluency with APIs, SDKs, data schemas, event taxonomies, identity and audience syncs, consent constraints, match rates, and the difference between a platform limitation, an implementation problem, and a data-quality issue. A track record writing technical requirements and integration specifications that engineers and vendors can act on, including edge cases, monitoring needs, validation plans, and clear ownership boundaries. Experience running vendor evaluations or RFPs end to end, including capability assessment, technical fit, security and privacy review, integration and migration effort, contract leverage, renewal decisions, and ongoing performance management. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot measurement and integration issues directly, hold a root-cause conversation with a vendor's solutions engineer, and communicate a clear interim assessment while the investigation is still underway. Excellent communication and cross-functional influence skills. You can be credible with channel marketers, vendors, engineers, Product, Data and Analytics, Legal, and Risk — without relying on positional authority. Practical experience evaluating AI or machine-learning marketing capabilities, with a healthy skepticism of vendor-reported lift and the ability to design pilots that produce a decision rather than just a demo. Nice-to-have Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment preferred, including comfort with consent, privacy, signal sharing, data matching, and compliance constraints. Experience with incrementality and geo testing, media mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, survey-based attribution, clean rooms, creative measurement, dynamic creative optimization, or offline and upper-funnel channel measurement. Experience evaluating AI-enabled creative, campaign optimization, bidding, audience, or marketing operations tools and deciding which pilots to scale, pause, or stop. Experience building monitoring, QA, or alerting that catches broken tags, missing postbacks, audience sync failures, data-quality issues, or channel measurement drift before they become business problems. Broader MarTech experience beyond paid media preferred, including CDP and reverse ETL, identity resolution, lifecycle or CRM platforms, web and CMS, experimentation, event taxonomy and instrumentation, personalization platforms, content or asset systems, or marketing data governance. #LI-Onsite #LI-AM1 A little about us At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
