The MarTech Jobs Report: September 2026

If you're choosing which MarTech platform to specialize in, September's hiring data has a clear answer: HubSpot, requested in 48.4% of new jobs. But the rest of the picture is more nuanced. Klaviyo alone posted 133 openings, the US dominated geography, and manager-level roles made up 40% of postings. MarTechJobs tracked 895 new jobs from 298 companies. Here's the breakdown.

MarTechJobs recorded 895 newly published jobs from 298 companies during September 2026. Of these, 322 were explicitly remote, representing 36% of the sample.

United States was the largest identifiable hiring market with 336 openings. The most frequently repeated exact title was "Digital Marketing Manager," appearing 11 times.

What candidates can take from the data

Candidates should look for skills that recur across different titles, decide whether employers favor generalists or platform specialists, and compare available inventory with their preferred location and seniority. A strong strategy is to combine a recognizable specialization with a transferable capability such as analytics, lifecycle design, automation, data quality, or commercial operations.

Methodology

This report analyzed 895 jobs first published to MarTechJobs from 2026-09-01 up to, but not including, 2026-10-01. Platform mentions are extracted from job descriptions; a job may mention multiple platforms. Remote share counts jobs explicitly classified as remote.

This is a sample collected by MarTechJobs, not a complete census of the global labor market.
