Growth Marketer (B2B Lead Generation) | Remote
wpriders.com • United States Remote
WPRiders is a technical web app development agency where we handle highly challenging projects.
It’s an agency where the day-to-day way of working is relaxed, yet thought-provoking because it’s very well organized.
You will own lead generation end-to-end for two brands, the WPRiders agency and our Swiss premium AI brand, coming up with the strategy and then building it yourself: landing pages, outreach sequences, LinkedIn content, lead magnets, and positioning tests, for clients based in the US, Western Europe, and Switzerland.
“It’s a place where you learn something new every day.” Or so our developers keep telling us.
We are looking for a marketer with at least three years of experience generating B2B leads for services, agency, or SaaS businesses, who can point to specific campaigns they ran and the pipeline that came out of them. Our team needs somebody who builds rather than briefs, is comfortable owning a number, and is genuinely curious about why our clients buy.
Growth Marketer (B2B Lead Generation) | Remote - Inside WPRiders
To join our team, you need
Experience in B2B lead generation or growth marketing for services, agency or SaaS businesses. Not e-commerce only.
A track record you can point to: specific campaigns you ran, and the leads or pipeline that came out of them
Strong written English. You will be writing every word our US, Western European and Swiss prospects read
Copywriting ability: cold email, ads, landing pages, LinkedIn, lead magnets
The ability to build a landing page independently, in WordPress with Elementor or an equivalent builder
Comfort with cold outreach mechanics: domain and inbox warm-up, deliverability, sequencing, personalisation at scale, and a GDPR-compliant approach for EU prospects
Analytics literacy: GA4, Search Console, UTM discipline, and the ability to build a simple reporting view and read it correctly
Basic technical comfort: sending email campaigns, embed codes, tracking pixels, no fear of a CMS admin panel
Serious use of AI tools as part of your daily workflow: research, list building, copy variants and personalisation at scale
Nice to have
Experience selling technical or development services
Basic HubSpot experience
Familiarity with Clay, Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, Sales Navigator or equivalents
Enough design ability in Figma or Canva to ship without waiting on a designer
Light no-code automation: Make, n8n, Zapier
You have run a side project, a newsletter, a community, or a small business of your own
Job Requirements
This is a B2B engagement on a day rate. We agree the days for each month together, against the experiment backlog, with a committed minimum we pay whether or not we use it. You need the capacity to give this a substantial share of your month.
No imposed hours. You decide when and where you work the agreed days. We ask you to keep a weekly one-to-one slot and to be able to join calls booked a couple of days ahead, in Romanian working hours.
Collaboration as an independent contractor.
You are an individual practitioner rather than an agency. You may use your own help if you want to, at your own cost, but we are engaging you.
English strong enough for senior-level written communication with US and Swiss buyers, and confident enough for client-facing calls
You are measured on one number: sales-qualified leads booked per month, at a sustainable cost per lead. A lead is a booked call the prospect attends, with budget, a real project, a fit with our ideal customer profile, and a realistic timeline. Not an email address.
Willingness to launch 3 to 4 distinct experiments in a full month and report the results honestly, wins and failures alike
No conflict with a direct competitor of ours, and no work for our own clients. Other, non-competing clients are fine.
Willingness to complete a paid one-day task before we make an offer, and a 3-month mutual assessment period after we do
What’s in it for you?
an international team spread across 5 countries
interesting projects with clear requirements, so you don’t have to guess what has to be done
a very well-organized environment
continuous learning: daily study time, book budget, Kindle / Amazon books, audiobooks on Audible
international exposure: 90% of our clients are international on a wide variety of WordPress projects
excellent payout & benefits packages tailored to your personal needs
family-friendly work culture: flexible hours during the day so you can take your kid out where it is needed (kindergarten or school, GP, other classes), free paid days for courses. In fact, we strive to reduce the tension between work and family and try to embed and promote policies and practices that genuinely support employees to thrive at work and at home.
an incredibly talented team with a healthy organizational culture that encourages learning and self-growth
As a Growth Marketer, you will
Own the entire lead generation function for both brands: strategy and hands-on execution
Define and continuously sharpen the ideal customer profile and the messaging for each brand
Maintain a prioritised experiment backlog with a clear hypothesis behind every test
Build and iterate landing pages, forms and conversion flows yourself
Write all the copy: ads, emails, landing pages, LinkedIn posts, lead magnets
Run cold outreach end-to-end: list building, enrichment, sequencing, follow-up and deliverability
Run LinkedIn: our company page, personal branding support for the founders, and direct outreach
Build lead magnets, calculators, audit offers, comparison pages and case studies
Manage SEO fundamentals and content that ranks for buying-intent keywords
Develop partnerships and channel plays: agencies, marketplaces, communities, directories
Set up tracking and attribution so that every experiment can be judged honestly
Decide where the budget and your time go, and defend the decision with numbers
Send one written weekly update: what was launched, what the numbers say, what happens next
Keep a documented playbook for anything that works, so it can be scaled or handed over
In your first 90 days
Days 1-30: understand the offer, the ICP, and our past wins and losses. Interview 3 to 5 existing clients. Audit what has been tried before and why it worked or did not. Deliver a prioritised experiment backlog.
Days 31-60: get the first 2 or 3 experiments live end to end, tracking included. First leads generated.
Days 61-90: identify at least one repeatable channel with a measurable cost per qualified lead, and document a playbook for it.
Month 4 onwards: a predictable monthly lead flow, with clear numbers behind it.
